Esoteric Bandhas

Kechari (lit. space-walking) – the frenulum of the tongue is severed and then the tip is drawn back along the roof of the mouth to the skull cavity (kapala kuhara) where it is used to stop the ambrosia (amrita) from the lake (soma) from descending thereby creating instant bliss.

Vajroli (lit. a type of seal) – an esoteric mudra which has been traditionally taught one-on-one in the teacher/student relationship.
